This silver teapot features a shot-blasted texture throughout the entire piece, with a meticulously balanced arrangement of dense and sparse patterns, and a harmonious interplay of concave and convex surfaces. Thousands upon thousands of tiny shot beads are neatly arranged in an elegant and grand manner, with their sizes gradually varying in an orderly fashion.
The skirt-shaped armor features nail-pattern decoration, a motif inspired by ancient Chinese bronze artifacts from the Xia, Shang, and Western Zhou dynasties—such as bronze jue vessels, bronze ding tripods, and three-ear or four-ear gui ritual vessels. This pattern is also commonly found on jade artifacts. The handle is made of woven rattan with a curved design, and the lid is smooth and press-fit, featuring a centrally riveted “chrysanthemum”-shaped knob. The double-curved spout is ideal for brewing tea with low infusion and slow extraction. The teapot’s body is oval-shaped and densely adorned with nail-pattern decoration. With a capacity of 1200 ml, it can yield approximately 24 cups of tea, making it perfect for hosting gatherings where many people can enjoy tea together.
