Situated west of China’s oldest temple, the White Horse Temple, the company was founded in 2000 by Mr. Wang Yaqiang, a renowned connoisseur of cultural relics. It is a privately-owned cultural enterprise specializing in the crafting of antique-style gold and silver artifacts, high-end tea ceremony accessories, incense tools, and flower arrangement pieces using traditional craftsmanship techniques.

In 2015, these skills were officially recognized by the People's Government of Henan Province as an Intangible Cultural Heritage (the Baishimiao Gold and Silver Craftsmanship). In 2018, the Luoyang Tangyi Gold and Silver Art Museum—owned by the company—was designated by the Henan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism as a Model Exhibition Hall for Intangible Cultural Heritage in Henan Province (Luoyang Tangyi Gold and Silver Art Museum).
