By 2015, the craft of making gold and silver artifacts at Baima Temple had been officially designated as an intangible cultural heritage by the People’s Government of Henan Province. |
2012 | (Creating the brand “Sheng Yitang”) In the same year, 2012, Mr. Wang Yaqiang established the brand “Sheng Yitang,” guided by the brand philosophy of “carrying tradition through objects and spreading it to the world,” with the aim of enabling more people to experience, enjoy, and appreciate the charm of China’s traditional crafts. |
2012 | (The “Luoyang Tangyi Gold and Silverware Museum” was established in accordance with the law.) As a collector, Mr. Wang Yaqiang received approval from the Henan Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau in February 2012 and officially opened the “Luoyang Tangyi Gold and Silverware Museum” in April 2012 during the China Peony Culture Festival. The Luoyang Tangyi Gold and Silverware Museum boasts an extensive collection of gold and silver artifacts, spanning a wide range of historical periods and showcasing diverse stylistic features across various cultural domains, reflecting the profound depth and sophistication of craftsmanship throughout different historical stages. The Luoyang Tangyi Gold and Silverware Museum is one of the first privately-run museums in Luoyang, founded by Wang Yaqiang, a local collector in Luoyang, based on his years of dedicated collecting. It is also Henan Province’s first specialized private museum dedicated to gold and silverware. |
2008 | Luoyang Ruizhe Arts & Crafts Co., Ltd. has successfully navigated numerous rigorous stages—including public bidding and skill-based selection—to replicate over 80 artifacts from the underground palace collection for the Famen Temple Museum in Fufeng, Shaanxi Province, leveraging our company’s unique intangible cultural heritage: the goldsmithing and silversmithing techniques of Baima Temple. Among these replicas is the world’s earliest and most complete set of imperial tea utensils—the Famen Temple Tea Set. In 2009, we replicated a silver plate decorated with double-fish motifs for the Xi’an Museum and developed 2,000 imitation Tang-dynasty intertwined-branch pattern gold and silver cups as business gifts for the Datang West Market Museum. |
